1.  What is the Las Vegas GirlFestival (LVGF)? The LVGF showcases female musicians, artists, spoken word, poets, film, dance, and visual artists of all ages and genres performing in various venues, to spotlight female artists and performers. 2.  How do I sign up for the LVGF? It is not a sign up process, but a selection process.  If you are interested in participating, click here for more information: “How To Officially Submit My Entry". If you are selected, we will contact you with further registration instructions. 3.  Is there a fee to participate in LVGF? There is no registration fee. 4.  I'm coming from out of town.  Is there any compensation for performers, or for travel expenses? No.  All performers and artists are participating for the exposure. 5.  Will I be allowed to sell my merchandise at the shows? This would depend on the venue.  Some venues may allow it and some may not. 6.  I'm in a female-fronted band.  Can my band participate? Yes, but in order to participate, the lead singer or performer must be female, even if they have other male band members.  The LVGF is designed to put a spotlight on female performers and artists. 7.  I have some music and art that's a little risqué.  Can I perform or show my artwork at the LVGF? It should be kept in mind that the LVGF are shows that are open to all ages.  Materials must be appropriate for that type of setting. 8.  If I am selected to perform or display my artwork, are there any forms to fill out? Yes.  We will notify you if you are selected.  At that time, you can download the Registration Form and Waiver form from this website, fill them out, and email them back to us. 9.  I'm a musician.  Can I play covers or do I need to play all originals?
